The Perfect Home Base (and Hosts) for Exploring New Orleans
We moved to New Orleans to look for a house, and this Airbnb was the ideal starting point. We stayed for five months and couldn’t have asked for a better experience—both with the property and with the incredible hosts, Loren and Christine. The home itself is top class: a beautiful historic property with a modern feel. Everything was spotless, efficient, and thoughtfully designed. The interior décor was delightful—every day felt like we were on vacation. The location couldn’t be better: tucked away in a quiet spot at night, yet just steps from Magazine Street and some of the city’s best bars and restaurants. Loren and Christine truly define what it means to be “superhosts.” Their communication was excellent, they were always helpful, and they made us feel like the home was ours. We’re very house-proud guests, and a property this nice deserves all the love and care from those who stay there. We’ve been Airbnbing for years, and this experience stands out as one of the best. If you’re looking for a place in New Orleans, we couldn’t recommend The Channel Gem enough.
